Once you place an order, meaning we have received a deposit or full payment, you have 7 days to raise a claim, and it must be before you collect the car. If you find a qualifying lower price, send the details to us and we will verify the comparison. If it meets the criteria, we will match the advertised price so you can move forward with real convenience.

What we match

We match the advertised cash price of a qualifying like for like car, advertised by an eligible UK motor retailer.

We compare the vehicle cash price only, to keep it consistent and fair.

What is excluded

All other charges are excluded from the comparison, including admin fees, delivery or transfer costs, finance charges, part exchange, tax, MOT, warranty, and any other added extras.

If you find a like for like car with the same finance terms for a lower monthly payment at an FCA authorised retailer, we will match it, or beat it, subject to eligibility and finance approval from our primary lender.

How to claim on finance

You need to provide a written competitor quote, email or PDF, showing the monthly payment, deposit, term, mileage allowance, APR, and balloon payment if applicable. The quote must be from an FCA authorised dealership, and it must clearly show those finance details so we can verify the comparison fairly.

Once you send the quote, we will check the details and, if eligible, we will match or beat the monthly price on the same finance terms. Any match is subject to finance approval from our primary lender, and our lender’s standard finance terms, fees, and conditions still apply.

Time limited promotions or manufacturer contributions are excluded. InterestFree4Cars purchases are also excluded.

You must be the buyer of the car to make a claim. Your claim must be made within 7 days of order placement, meaning receipt of deposit or full payment, and before car collection.

The competitor car must be on sale and in stock, and available for immediate purchase or collection, at a VAT registered professional motor retailer, including car supermarkets, main or franchise dealers, or large reputable independents.

Imports, private sales, auctions, and trade only sites are excluded. The advertised price must be available to the general public, for example online, and it must not be an obvious pricing error.

To qualify as like for like, the core vehicle details must be the same. These checks keep the comparison transparent, so you are comparing the same car, not just a similar one.

Used cars can vary slightly, so we also assess comparability using the checks below.

Submitting a finance claim may require a credit check. Multiple credit applications could temporarily affect your credit score.
