The latest figures from Manheim Auctions confirm the Fiesta remained the UK’s favourite car for both the wholesale and consumer market in 2017

On top of that, NextGear Capital also confirmed that the Fiesta was the most funded vehicle of 2017.

The Fiesta's nearest pursuers in the used car market are the Ford Focus and Vauxhall Corsa, with the BMW 3 Series, VW Golf and Vauxhall Astra also remaining popular.

Colour-wise, the used car market mirrored the new car market in 2017 with black overtaking white as the most popular used car colour.

Silver, blue and grey completed the top five in that order.
