Find Out Why This Reality TV Superstar Bought Back His Old Motor From 1982!

Apprentice billionaire Lord Sugar has a chequered history when it comes to purchasing motors. He’s admitted in the past to being ‘done up like a kipper’ when purchasing some of the world’s most expensive cars – which may leave some wondering why he’s decided to get out the cheque book for a vehicle with more than 35 years of history.

Sugar saw one of his recent motors, a classic 1959 Bentley S1 Continental Sport Saloon, sold at auction for £500,000 last year. It was a vehicle which had previously been owned by Sir Elton John and though Sugar had the prestige motor for six years, he later contested that he had overpaid for the silver Bentley.

So with that in mind it may have left some questioning why the computer mogul would want to pay his hard earned money for a 1982 Rolls Royce. However, Sugar had no qualms  wondering about previous ‘careful owners’ as the Roller was Sugar’s first ever Rolls Royce.

"A car collector contacted me with this car which history showed it was my first rolls (sic) bought in January 1982,” Sugar tweeted.

"I have bought it back and it is being delivered today. All I need now is to get a (sic) another classic number."

Twitter trolls wasted no time in sending the controversial TV bigwig some controversial suggestions as to what that number plate might be. Many of which are unprintable.
