The new Ford Focus is set to be unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show this March, but eagle-eyed car enthusiasts have already spotted its new looks on the continent.
Hungarian website, Vezess, has managed to get some exclusive shots of the new Ford Focus, whilst filming on location in Portugal. The redesigned motor, once the darling of showrooms across the world, comes with a five-door only, lighter and roomier and more techno-savvy interior.
Engine size of the new Ford Focus are likely to centre around the 1.5 litre TDCi, with 2.0 litre petrol option also on offer.
The Ford Focus has lost a huge section of its traditional buying market to the trend for SUVs and crossover and it is fully expected that we will also see a ‘Focus Active’ crossover, to cash-in on that trend. We should also anticipate ST Line, ST, Vignale and a new-look Focus RS.
The bulk of the labour production on the brand new Ford Focus should be expected to take place in China, though there will be some production kept in Europe.
