Lexus is getting well and truly stuck into the SUV market with their latest reveal of the all-new UX, which is set to be debuted at next week’s Geneva Motor Show.
The chunky crossover is likely to go head-to-head with the Audi A3 and the BMW X1, with it’s styling taken directly from the UX concept which first saw the light of day at the Paris Motor Show of 2016.
The entry-level motor should be priced around the £35-40k mark, which could look a little steep for what is essentially a slightly larger family hatch. There’s plenty of ‘Wow’ for your money though with the huge wheel arches, fractured bodystyling, huge aggressive grille and some 22nd Century headlights.
What we know about the internal entertainment of the Lexus UX is a bit more sketchy. From the limited images we have, we do know that it will take Lexus’s widescreen infotainment system.
If the current trend for hybrid continues then it should be expected that we will be saying sayonara to the prospect of a diesel engine.
