The Cars That Money Can’t Buy – Aston Martin AMV10

Sun 16th Dec 2018

Sometimes your wallet won’t stretch to purchasing your dream motor. But don’t worry too much, there are some cars that even the biggest bank balances can’t buy, the dream cars that will forever remain a dream. These are the concept cars that never go into production.

Aston Martin AMV10
Designed to showcase what an Aston Martin might look like with a mid-engine V10, the AMV 10 was revealed by Sabino Design in 2008, but 10 years down the line there is still a huge appetite to see this beauty make the production line, or maybe even a fully working concept?

Sadly, Sabino Leerentveld’s renders are all we have to gaze at, and though the Aston Martin One-77 did borrow heavily many of the design elements, including the rear lights and has a juicy V12 engine, it will never borrow the level of sophistication and power that the AMV10 promised.

Leerentveld has hinted that his design will one day see the light of day and challenge the Lamborghinis and Ferraris of the world of supercars, but if we want to see the kind of liquid motor joy experienced in the Sabino Design renders we are probably best averting our eyes elsewhere, to another less conservative brand.

Still, the internet and Aston Martin fanboys can forever pin posters on their walls of what might have been and be forever thankful for Dutch dreamcar designers Sabino Design and their work of art that is the Aston Martin AMV10.
