Nissan Juke
Manufactured in Sunderland, the Juke has been one of the big success stories for Nissan in Europe and is second only to the Qashqai in terms of sales.
The Juke, named because it means to dance or change direction whilst demonstrating agility, was unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show and was launched in the UK in September of the same year.
The vehicle has a unique body-shape which often divides opinion, a high waistline with slim side windows, a modern twist on the ‘coke bottle styling’ which was popular with vehicles in the 1960s and 70s.
In Europe we have five different trim levels to choose from, including the Visia, Acenta, Tekna, Nismo and Nismo RS, the latter of which has quite different styling to the original.
Though the average age of Juke drivers tends to be those in the late 40s, it has been reported that the Juke is also popular with younger buyers. The Juke also holds a distinctive world record after it was driven by a stunt driver on two-wheels around Goodwood Hill in just two minutes and 55 seconds.
