The Take-Five Review: Citroen C4 Cactus 2018

Mon 12th Feb 2018

Quirky, eccentric and very, very French. Citroen are a manufacturer that have never been afraid to push the boundaries of what is acceptable when it comes to designing a car. How could we ever forget the 2CV, quite easily one of the most remarkable drives ever witnessed, and the vehicle of choice for many an authentic French lanaguage teacher.

The 2018 edition has ditched the trademark side panels, but what else has it retained? We've scoured the world wide web to find out what the expert reviewers are saying...

Autocar co.uk says:  This revised Cactus C4 is definitely more floaty than the last, making it a comfortable, soft ride for the majority of our test road, which harks back to what old Citroens were known for.

Autoexpress.co.uk says:  This revised Cactus C4 is definitely more floaty than the last, making it a comfortable, soft ride for the majority of our test road, which harks back to what old Citroens were known for

Whatcar.com says: The Citreon C4 Cactus has its foibles, but it's a fine choice if you want SUV styling in a good-value, compact package.

Express.co.uk says: It absorbs road imperfections to offer a ‘magic carpet’ ride effect and comes as standard on Feel and Flair trim.

Carsguide.com says: The Citroen C4 Cactus is a cool, quirky car that is one of the best priced in the small SUV market. If you're on a budget but still want to leave an impression, this could be the car for you.
